Before this season starts, you all have chance to argue for 1 or 2 player to be upgraded. State the player, their OA, and some important stats from this season in the actual NFL. Post your players here, and what you feel their OA should be, and argue your case. The mods will either accept or reject the upgrade based on your argument. Your offensive line (LT, LG, C, RG, RC) will be harder to get a judgement on, as no real stats are available. To upgrade them, the argument would need to be on how well the QB was defended from sacks and tackles.
Examples of Stats to use: QB - Passing Yards, Thrown interceptions, Touchdown Passes RB - Rushing Yards, Fumbles, Rushing TD's WR - Receiving Yards, Receiving Touchdowns, 1st downs LB/DE/DT - Sacks, Tackles, Forced Fumbles
Post your upgrade request below.
EDIT: Upgrades are due in by Monday, February 3rd.

one that I have is Jerrell Freeman. Former CFL leader in tackles. Recently won AFC defensive player of the week.
Jerrell Freeman 78 MLB 126 tackles (14th in NFL), 5.5 sacks, 6 forced fumbles (T - 3rd in NFL), 2 interceptions.
18 Post-Season Tackles. 5th in the league behind two Seahawks and two 49ers.
I think he should be rated in the mid 90's
For comparison
Patrick Willis 96 MLB - 104 tackles, 3 sacks, 2 forced fumbles, 0 INT Daryl Washington 89 MLB - 75-3-0-2 Lawrence Timmons 88 MLB - 126-3-1-2 Derrik Johnson 91 MLB - 107-4.5-0-2
might have another one later...

Lol he had that many tackles because the colts defense is shit. He's nowhere near those type of guys you listed.

MLB Jon Beason - current rating is a 78. He is a 3 time pro bowler and two time all pro. His last two years have been hampered with injuries but before that he was one of the best MLBs in the league for 4 straight seasons. Last year he provided similar production, in his 12 games as a Giant (about 8 tackles per game and 2.5 assisted tackles per game), as he did in his all pro years. I am not asking for him to be upgraded to what he once was (90-93) I'm just saying that 78 is too low. Something around 83-85 would be a better fit.
WR Victor Cruz - current rating is 87. He is a top 3 slot WR in the game and is a top 10 one overall. He has been super productive since entering the league and had a slight down year because his QB had no time to throw due to a shitty injury plagued offensive line. He still had nearly 75 reception and 1000 yards. Something around 89-91 would be more appropriate.

For New England, as he asked for me to post his (even though his team doesn't need to be any better):
Dont'a Hightower 84 97 Tackles 1 Sack 3 Passes Deflected 84 -> 85
Aaron Dobson 74 519 Yards w/37 Receptions 4 TD's 25 1st downs 74 -> 80

For me:
Leonard Hankerson 78 375 Yards w/30 receptions 3 TD's 21 1st downs
His season was cut short due to injury. Had he played all season, his states were on pace for 600 yards, 48 receptions, 5 TD's, and 34 1st downs. 78 -> 82
Adam Carriker 78 He only played two games this season, as he had his 3rd surgery on his right knee. The season before, he had 34 tackles and 5.5 sacks. The fact that he has a bad knee shouldn't lead to him having a lowered OA. 78 -> 82

I think all of them are very reasonable. The Dabson one might be a little too much but it's not egregious.
I wish we could do a few more per team but it's not really feasible (too much effort for the simmer, and I don't blame you). It's just that these latest ratings put too much weight on recent form of the players. For example, Eli Manning being an 83 is a joke , despite his bad year.

We'll have more of these, this is just 2 to start off for now. If you feel that the Dabson one is a bit much, what do you feel he should be rated?

Skins by the way all the other upgrades were done both of your guys should be 82.
Are you going to do upgrades for every team if you're not then this upgrade system is really stupid imo.
Also my guy I want to upgrade is Alex Smith 87. Should be anywhere from 88 to 90. The guy only threw 8 picks all year and is one of the best game managers in the game. If it wasn't for the chiefs defense playing like crap and jamaal charles getting injured they may have made the afc championship game against the broncos (this coming from a pats fan)If you look at Russel Wilsons stats and Alex Smiths stats then they should be rated the same. There almost identical.

79/80 would be more reasonable for Dabson. He didn't have that good of a season

79/80 would be more reasonable for Dabson. He didn't have that good of a season Pretty good year for a rookie considering he missed 4 games and basically didn't play in 4 of the games he was active for. If he was healthy he prob would have had numbers closer to Cruz.

Sure he had a pretty good year for a rookie. Rating him at an 82 puts him in #2 wr range. He isn't that for me
