aside from the rules. Post some stuff here that I should know. (i.e., if this was a hockey site, you'd need to tell me "Wayne Gretzky is the best player ever, Crosby/Ovechkin/whoever are the best current NHLers, Montreal has the most Cups, etc.) 3 things I did learn recently include: 1) Ravens won the World Series last year. 2) The Buffalo All-Americans got shafted out of the 1921 NFL (then APFA) championship by the Chicago Staleys - interesting story. and 3) #1 was a joke. I know what the Super Bowl is. Really, though, any cool NFL stories, history, or facts people wanna share, I am eager to learn.

I think that with that young stud Warren Moon, the Houston Oilers will win the 1960 Super Bowl

The way the ratings are set up there's really all kinds of top players. You need a good Quarterback, a good Running Back and a decent #1 Wide Receiver to put together a decent offense. Everything else after that is a bonus. You aren't going to have a good offense without a good Offensive line. Your LT, LG, RT, RG all protect your Quarterback. The LT is probably the most important position for your offense. He protects the Quarterbacks "blind side" when he drops back to pass. A good LT will give your QB more time to make a play before he gets run over.

These are great. Keep 'em coming, gents. New England Patriots, I would have made offers for Tom Brady cause he was funny on the Simpsons, but that sounds to me like you won't be trading him, haha.

Most super bowls go to the steelers and the team who had been to the super bowl but never won vikings 0 - 4 in the big show

I can't post a link from work but google Rams vs Titans Superbowl last play - probably one of the best finishes to a championship game in recent memory.
Also Joe Montana to Dwight Clark 49ers vs Cowboys.
There are so many great plays in football. Playoffs are the best. One and done. There's no 7 game series, your team doesn't show up then they go home.

The last superbowl I actually sat down and enjoyed was when the Giants won the upset with a massive behind the head one handed catch.

Bucs have a really good team this year, on paper atleast. It hasn't been the same since Sapp & Lynch left. They generally look good on paper, then the season starts. lol

silly question that someone could answer faster than research (that would confuse me). How many of each position a) plays in a game, and b) do you need, minimum?
I know you have/need/play 1 kicker and 1 punter. Other then that, I don't know. Like, are there double-up positions (like 2 RGs, or 2 LEs or whatever - cause you know in hockey you have defencemen, but 2 play at once...that kind of thing...)
