Let's discuss some of our favorite football memories, whether they happened to you directly or is of a game that happened, etc.
I'll share my favorite.
I played co-ed flag football in grade school (co-ed probably isn't the right word, mixed gender? jesus i went off topic) anyways, I was running for a play to make a catch and right as I caught the ball, I turned around and got smoked by a tackle.
This was flag football. There were no shoulder pads. I got hammered. Wind knocked out of me, the works.
I got tackled by a girl. A tiny little girl who was the nicest person in my school and she destroyed me.

Little Giants And playing full contact tackle football in a secret corner of the schoolyard in grade 7. Teachers were confused about how we got so roughed up looking, but no one said anything. It was great.

michealaldred - next time you are in town, wanna play football? Or make a football version of "The Golfer"? Or a documentary about two old men trying to play football with just the two of them?

I'll play football.. i remember once i was playing two hand touch football co-ed... and it was getting dark so we couldn't see the ball... the other team huddled after the snap and everyone ran to the end zone.. not knowing who had the ball i saw a girl in the clear running towards the end zone and i chased after her and as i caught up to her i jumped up grabbed her by the head and slammed her face into the ground... I was sooooo proud of what i had just done... then i realized she didn't have the ball... haha oops. (not so proud anymore)

Favorite NFL Moment: The Buccaneers one and only Super Bowl win in 2002. lol I didn't even think the had a prayer against the Raiders that year with the QB they had, but I still remember putting $10 down on them to win anyways, right Dolphins?! lol As it turned out, it wasn't Johnson (the QB) that really won them the trophy; it was purely they're D and supporting cast, though Johnson played above his head that day. lol I miss that team. Sapp, Barber, Brooks, Lynch, Keyshawn, Dunn, Alstott... Ah, memories. Favorite CFL Moment:I was taken to an Edmonton Eskimos game back in the '80s and got to see my 2 favorite players at that time play; Matt Dunnigan (QB) & Bruce Kelly (WR). It was pretty epic. Favorite Personal Football Moment: Our undefeated season in minor football. I was an LT on the O-line that also moonlighted as a 3rd TE from time to time; scored 4 TDs myself that season. Winning the championship and going undefeated that season was extremely special. Now, if only I hadn't blown out my knee and played on it for 4 games, I'd probably still be playing. lol
